Are you a musically inclined UNCG student, staff member, or alum AND a fan of the Grateful Dead? Are you interested in playing Grateful Dead music with other UNCG musicians as part of The '60s: Exploring the Limits?

If your answer is YES, please consider auditioning for this opportunity by submitting a video of yourself playing some Grateful Dead music to the link below. Live auditions will follow (by invitation) on November 17th at the Greensboro Project Space. The process will culminate in a LIVE PERFORMANCE by the UNCG Dead Band at the Crown Theatre in Downtown Greensboro on February 9, 2019.

The Heap Festival 2018


Thank you all so much for attending and making this year’s Heap all that it was. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, everyone at Little Creek Vineyards, the amazing performers, and anyone else who contributed! We are decompressing this week, but will be posting pictures, videos, and recaps of this amazing experience. Take the love that we felt and send that back into the world! MayDay On McGee

MayDay on McGee, we love you! The heaple were out in full(y) force yesterday to catch the tunes, support Jah Works, Inc., and drink the delicious beer at Little Brother Brewing. Thank you to everyone who came together to help make this happen! ⬆️s to Eric and Bee Kay on the sound and lights, and to all the bands KILLED it, special shout outs to Twisted River Junction, who sounded absolutely serene, Travers Brothership who lit. it. UP🔥, and to The Wright Ave who was dialed the eff in.

Be sure to follow our Facebook page to stay up to date on all Pizza Pile happenings.  Uncle John's Bone hosts a Pizza Pile most Monday nights at New York Pizza on Tate Street in Greensboro, NC.  Main contenders being Julian Sizemore (The Mantras), Keith Allen (The Mantras), and Jared Coker (The Wright Ave).  Along with the regulars, UJB brings in a plethora of jam talent to heap with us.  It is always a tremendous time and a great way to shake off those Monday Blues!
